I got fired from Dunkin Donuts today for all this stuff. I'm slow and not working out and stand around too much. Oh well. I'm upset but I didn't like that job and the manager was really nice about firing me. Hahaha.

Update!

September 1st, 2009 (11:48 pm)
ecstatic

current mood: ecstatic

So remember this post?..."I was thinking about the life of my love for The Devil Wears Prada. It started out back in January or February of 2007 when I found out the local band I liked, A Fate Worth Fighting, would be playing with TDWP at a local venue that I often went to on March 24th. I hadn't really heard of them but I figured I should check them out. I remember being in the one place we hung out after school and having my one friend play "Dogs Can Grow Bears All Over"...I think that was the first time I heard them. This friend had a sticker of them on her purse so I asked her if I could borrow the CD since I knew she had it. On March 6th or 7th I ripped the CD to my computer and started learning the songs. I also remember the first time my mom heard them...I was going to PNC bank and I sat in the car listening while she was in the building. She came out and heard it and seemed to not like them much. By the time the concert came, I knew about 5 songs from the album and the beginnings of the others. At the concert I was in heaven (not meant to be a pun but it is). They were awesome live, even though my one friend didn't like them then. I continued to listen to them throughout the summer and when I was on vacation. (I was learning Texas Is South when I drove through Texas hahaha.) When Plagues was released I didn't go out to buy it at first, I was kind of scared they would sound different. When I finally did buy it in September I was amazed at how well it was. I was upset when "Hey John, What's Your Name Again" was being played on MTV2. I don't like when band I love get popular but I dealt with it. It wasn't until about December that I realized I was obsessed with them. I was looking on the Warped Tour site sometime in early 2008 and saw that TDWP would be playing. Knowing my luck I figured they wouldn't play at my stop but then I noticed it said they were playing the whole tour. I was super excited because I knew I was definitely allowed to go. They recently released "HTML Rulez D00d" and are still getting popular (which I'm still grrrr about). Now that Warped is two days away I'm getting really nervous. I want to stay for their whole set but there's so many bands I want pics of that there's almost no way I can. I'm going to try really hard though. Hurley Stage, HERE I COME!"

That was over a year ago so I'm going to update it.

I saw them at Warped that year and had an amazing time. When I was waiting in line to meet them, a freak storm came so I didn't get to (so mad!). I bought the re-release of Plagues since then and I now own 8 TDWP shirts. :D I bought With Roots Above and Branches Below (got it early) and I love it. I listen to it so much, my mom knows all the music and taps to the beat (especially the one part in Big Wiggly Style). I got to see them this year at Warped, too. Once again, amazing. Finally got to meet them and stalk them (hehe, in a non creepy way). I joined their fan community and that's pretty much it. The end. :DDD

College

shocked

current mood: shocked

Today was my first day of college! It was pretty sweet. My English teacher is hilarious. I just wish I had my license because it's like half an hour away and my parents don't like driving me lol. And I just learned the bus that used to have a stop a block away, changed the stop so it's now four blocks away. -_- That's not far but on Tues and Thurs I'd have to be at the stop around 11am for a 3pm class. Ehhhhh.

Wedding

current mood: amused

I went to this awesome wedding today. The bride, Sarah, I've known for a while and her groom is a hippie. The service was cool and the reception was awesome. They had a ska band play (I was forced to dance XD) and the party favors were baby trees to take home and plant. Plus, there was a vegetarian buffet. Oh yes, coolest wedding ever. :D

True Blood

August 22nd, 2009 (12:46 am)
happy

current mood: happy

I had a dream about Eric Northman, oh man. Too bad he's not a real person haha. But Godric's dead, noooo!! lol. I liked him a lot. Grrr.

Tdwpband.com

July 28th, 2009 (02:26 pm)
current mood: greasy

I finally got a debit card so I joined Tdwpband.com and the people are so gayyy. Everyone criticizes everyone and they're so negative. I found maybe two really nice people on there. The mean ones aren't even complete TDWP fans. Why would you join a paid fan community for a band that's not your favorite? Idk it's wierd. And my friends gram died yesterday, I kinda knew her and it makes me sad faced lol. I also worked my first eight hour shift yesterday. It didn't feel too long because it was at night.

Warped Tour

July 17th, 2009 (10:38 pm)
giddy

current mood: giddy

Well, there it went again. Warped Tour was on Wednesday and I must say, I think this was the best so far. I got to see The Devil Wears Prada for the third time and I met them! Plus I got to stalk some of them thanks to luck and Twitter lol (I passed James and followed him to the Skull Candy stage where he was watching a band and I stood as close as I could haha, then I saw Daniel said on Twitter that he was watching the one band so I went and found him and took a pic of him -sneak sneaky-) Once again, a bunch of people kept getting us to buy their CDs but we had like no extra money. There were Rock Band contests, little lockers to charge AT&T phones, and stations to try out different guitars in the Ernie Ball area. We went in the back way this time because they did all these things differently. TDWP was the first band to play the mainstage and they did great. I got to see just about all of the bands I wanted to see plus a couple I wasn't expecting. I also got to meet Escape the Fate, Aiden, Senses Fail, and Jeffree Star and his boyfriend, Daniel Lukas. I saw this local kinda famous online guy there and Rick Thorne! He was just like chilling in the middle of the pathway with his bike talking to some guy. The one TDWP merch guy seemed very unamused to be there lol. And he seems like a jerk but oh well. We tried to find Minkus but couldn't. Afterwards, we went to the Denny's Allnightr party, even though TDWP wasn't going to be at ours. We got free totes for signing a sheet and free party favors. You should see my sunburn, it's terrible. My parents keep calling me a lobster :D I'm still recovering from that and work so I'm still like dead partially haha.

WARPED TOUR!

July 14th, 2009 (11:11 pm)
excited

current mood: excited

You know what's tomorrow? Oh I bet you do. If not, look at the title, of course. XDDD WARPED TOUR!!! Can't wait. Get to see TDWP for the third time and hopefully get to meet them. I hope my camera doesn't break again or it rains like last year. D: Woot. So excited! So...normally my before and after Warped posts are longer than this. What to talk about...hmm. I'm wearing my bright green pants and teal vneck...if anyone cares. Lol. I have to remember to take a picture of the TDWP tent and of random people cuz it's fun. Well, I'll hopefully write about it tomorrow when I get back or Thursday since I actually have a day off.
